Ponderosa Lodge
The Ponderosa Lodge makes a powerful first impression, commanding attention the moment you cross the bridge leading to the property. Built from hand-crafted Douglas Fir logs sourced from British Columbia, the lodge is substantial in scale while remaining perfectly balanced with its surroundings. Its architecture is deeply tied to place, with roof lines that echo the rolling forms of the Blue Ridge Mountains that frame the home. Natural materials were chosen with intention, from the warm timbers to the full masonry fireplaces constructed of stone harvested locally in North Georgia. Together, these elements create a lodge that feels timeless, grounded, and unmistakably connected to its landscape.
Modern Rustic Retreat
Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed to support both comfort and hospitality. Each of the four bedrooms includes an adjacent bathroom, offering privacy and convenience for guests and family alike. The layout is spacious yet inviting, allowing multiple groups to gather or relax simultaneously without feeling crowded.
Entertaining is effortless with two full kitchens, making the lodge well suited for large gatherings, extended stays, or shared vacations. Expansive porches and decks encourage time outdoors, where mountain views and fresh air surround you. From these vantage points, it’s easy to forget where you are and imagine yourself tucked away in the Rockies rather than the Blue Ridge Mountains.
