Designed by Michael Grant and built by Modern Rustic Homes , the lodge features an imposing profile. It is characterized by hand-hewn white pine logs with French dovetail corners, timber-frame elements, and indigenous stone. Architectural details like stone turrets, a synthetic slate roof, and enchanting shutters contribute to its charm.

Sustainable Materials: The home champions sustainability, utilizing 16 species of wood and extensive reclaimed and recycled materials.
Highlights include:
Flooring recycled from a century-old Pennsylvania warehouse. “Mushroom board” lumber, salvaged from mushroom farms, applied to the kitchen and guest rooms. A multi-pitched roof made of synthetic slate from recycled plastic.
Modern Comfort: New technology is seamlessly integrated with the Old World look. Homeowners can remotely control the inside temperature, lights, and hot tub prior to arrival. The home also includes a state-of-the-art media system and home theater.
